INDI FILM develops, produces and co-produces high quality documentaries, feature films and cross-media formats. Our projects are gripping and informative, accessible and well researched, as well as demanding in content and style.
INDI FILM roots stem from the collaboration of co-founders and managing directors Dietmar Ratsch and Arek Gielnik on their first documentary film “Iced Lemoade for Hong Li” (1999/2000). After screening the finished film at the Berlinale in 2001 INDI FILM GmbH was founded in Ludwigsburg. To expand and develop contacts the Berlin branch opened its’ doors in 2006. Since 2011 the company headquarter is located in Stuttgart.
